Martin Jones is a Scarborough, Ontario writer and the author of two collections of poetry, Arc of the Sun (2024) and the slow knot of time (2021), and a book of short stories, The Gentleman Lion (2022). His one-act play, Stella, was performed in Toronto in October 2025, and a full-length play, Night Journey, of which he is a writer and producer, will be performed at the Toronto Fringe Festival in July 2026. He is a winner of the McIlquham Foundation Scholarship for Creative Writing at Queen’s University.
